Djito is a senior advertising practitioner who started his career in early 1980’s as Copywriter at Matari Advertising. He then became Creative Director of Binamark, Poliyama, Fortune Indonesia, Hotline Indonesia, Dentsu Indonesia and TBWA Indonesia. After that, he was more focus as a Strategic Planner. He was the Strategic Plannng Consultant for Dwi Sapta IMC before he decided to become a consultant in theIntegrated Marketing Communications field.
Some of his clients are: IKI Real Estate (Palembang), BCA, Danamon, Standard Cartered, Jiwasraya, Sari Ayu, Nivea, Pantene Shampoo, Kartu As Telkomsel, Panasonic, Sasa, Simas Margarine, Kacang Dua Kelinci, Tropical Cooking Oil, Djarum Coklat, Mixagrip, Indomilk, Bir Bintang, Daihatus Sirion, Agip Oil, Top One, etc. His expertise as consultant was utilized by Depdiknas, TNI AL, some political parties, and Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW).
Quite frequently, he gave lectures in some universities in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. He has experience as a judge in some creative/advertising competition; such as: Citra Pariwara, Pinasthika, Kompas Ad Competition, Tempo Ad Competition, Jawa Pos Ad Competition, and advertising competition in some universities.
He is the writer of “Komunikasi Cinta – Menembus G-spot Konsumen”, a famous book in the advertising industry and it becomes a reference book in some universities.
